Wampus Multimedia has postponed the deadline for submissions to its Warren Zevon
tribute to November 30.

Following the label's other tribute CDs, If I Were a Richman: a Tribute to the
Music of Jonathan Richman (2001), and After Hours: a Tribute to the Music of Lou
Reed (April 2003), the compilation will feature selections from throughout
Zevon's reign as rock's most acerbic troubadour and cynical romantic. Wampus
will donate one dollar from the sale of each Zevon CD to the American Cancer
Society. Want to submit? Find out how: http://wampus.com/warren.html

Here's a brilliant alternative to framing a CD and hanging it on your wall. It's a product that lets you display your CD, along with your CD cover, like a trophy. Now people can show off their favorite CD by displaying it on a bookcase, dresser, mantle, or desktop. When an artist completes a CD project, it is important for that artist to take at least one CD and display it in order to celebrate his or her accomplishment. When a music fan gets an autographed CD, that CD is no longer just a CD, it is a piece of the fan's history and there should be an easy way to display that CD without having to frame it. Visit CDstands.com for more info.
