Sandy Serge
Sandy Serge was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the mid-1980’s. She began writing poems in her teens and has written verse, poetry, songs, articles, and newsletters ever since, with many published works to her credit. She has been active in the music industry for a significant number of years, working with national and independent recording artists. Sandy acquired B.S. in Marketing and M.S. in Communications degrees from LaSalle University. She also has a certificate in Music Management from the Music Business Institute and minored in Interpretive Dance and Journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while majoring in music. Mark E. Waterbury
Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin and now residing in Canton, Georgia, Mark E. Waterbury has had a passion for photography for most of his life. He has exhibited in a number of galleries and events as well as having photographs published in regional and national publications. A Navy veteran, he works in the music industry for Serge Entertainment and has also written for many local, regional and national publications. Wisconsin native now living in the Atlanta area, Sandy Serge, owner of Serge Entertainment Group, has written poetry for a significant number of years. Many of her poems originate from songs she wrote while performing as a folk musician in Wisconsin. “Gems & Relics” displays her innovative poetry styles from non-linear abstract to traditional as well as a blending of styles. Often drawn from her own life experiences, the poetry is deeply emotional and is meant to be experienced by the reader. Visually enhanced by the photography/graphic work of Mark E. Waterbury, another former Wisconsinite now residing in Georgia.
