Record producer, musician, songwriter, publisher.... a man of many hats who comes to us from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada, Scott Turner is no stranger to the music biz. He was the lead guitarist and writer for Tommy Sands and the Raiders, Guy Mitchell, and Eddie Fisher, and joined A&M Records as writer/producer in 1963. From that, he went on to be General Manager of Central Songs and eventually became executive producer of the country division at Liberty/Imperial Records. In 1968, Scott was transferred to Nashville to take over the country division of Liberty/Imperial/United Artists. He was also an independent producer for Slim Whitman, Del Reeves, and Jimmy Clanton. He's won Gold Records on four of Whitman's LPs.

Scott Turner has composed well over 350 recorded songs and has co-written efforts with Audie Murphy, Nilsson, Buddy Holly, Herb Alpert, Mac Davis, John Marascalco, Alex Harvey, Red Lane, Tommy Sands, Diane Lampert, Charlie Williams, Doc Pomus, Guy Mitchell, and Cliffie Stone.

Mr. Turner's songs have been recorded by Roy Clark, Eddy Arnold, Slim Whitman, Jerry Wallace, Nilsson, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Herb Alpert, The Baja Marimba Band, Tijuana Brass, Dean Martin, Charley Pride, Tammy Wynette, Porter Waggoner, Jimmy Bryant, Robert Gordon, Sonny Throckmorton, Jimmy Dean, Larry Butler, The Del Vikings, Dave Dudley, Wanda Jackson, Wynn Stewart, Skeets MacDonald, Gene Vincent, Del Reeves, and many more.

He has produced numerous albums, and has various film and TV credits including three songs in the film Shout.

Mr. Turner owns and operates Buried Treasure Music, Captain Kidd Music, and Scott Turner Productions.

A native of Madison, Wisconsin, Mark "Stormy" Waterbury has been writing and photographing for publications throughout the past seven years of his life. Before migrating to Atlanta to avoid the harsh Wisconsin winters, he served as free-lance writer for Badger Entertainer, Keynote, and Night Sights and Sounds, all entertainment publications based in Madison.

After his stint with Night Sights and Sounds, Mark opted to publish his own free music paper, created a partnership with Susan Masino, and co-published the regional entertainment magazine Rock Central located in Madison, Wisconsin.

Mark's forté is interviewing celebs. He has conducted interviews with Rick Medlocke of Blackfoot, Layne Staley of Alice in Chains, Kirk Hammet of Metallica, George Lynch of Dokken, Paul Stanley of Kiss, Doug Wimbish of Living Colour, Damon Johnson of Brother Cane, Jimmy Stiff of Jackyl, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, Kip Winger, Bobby Byrd, and John Mayall, to name just a few.

Mr. Waterbury also has a passion for photography. His collection includes Johnny Winter, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Emerson Lake & Palmer, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, and The Black Crowes. He has an avid interest in train history and has traveled throughout the country to photograph various railroad trains.

Mark's goal is simple and that is to continue to make a living as a free-lance writer and publicist. He contributes significantly to Music Morsels with his informative and entertaining interviews of music industry professionals and musicians, and has recently joined Surgeland Records as Vice President of Media Relations.

For over thirty years, Sandy Serge has been active in numerous aspects of the music industry. She began playing piano at age 7, violin at 8, and guitar at 12. She managed and promoted musicians throughout Wisconsin during her teens and early twenties as well as performing with seven symphonies, two rock bands, a folk duo and as a solo artist.

After twenty years of musical performance, Sandy opted to concentrate her efforts on the business sector of the music industry and opened her own booking/management agency in the Midwest.

In 1986, Sandy ventured to Atlanta where she attended the Music Business Institute during which time she played an integral part in organizing the MBI showcase, produced a video which aired on Prime Cable, and co-created the MBI video utilized as a marketing tool for the Institute.

Sandy has worked with music industry notables and their affiliates primarily in a marketing/public relations capacity. The list includes members of Bad Boy, The Black Crowes, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Kansas, Eddie Money, and many others. She also provided management and PR consulting services for the #1 Russian band Rondo as well as numerous other entertainers and musicians throughout the world.

Today Sandy is the owner of the globally-known Serge Entertainment Group which consists of the Group management division, est. 1987; Serge Entertainment Public Relations, est. 1987: Music Morsels, est. 1995, the award-winning, trademarked music industry ezine/webzine; Surgeland Records, an independent recording label featuring recording artists The Moon, Bad Boy and NineDollarMelonBaller, est. 1996; Storm Surge Publishing (BMI) and Sun Surge Publishing (ASCAP), song publishing divisions, est. 1997. Sandy has a B.S in Marketing and an M.S. in Communications from La Salle University as well as a Musician Management degree from the Music Business Institute.
